Over the last ten years, I’ve worked as a designer for different innovation projects driving teams through a mixed approach based on creative experience design, Design Thinking and Product Design.

Rituals

Experience Design Lead

At AKQA, I was responsible for the redesign of the app and .com. Creating a relevant online experience that compliments the in-store experiences, which Ritualista’s trust and appreciate.

The online environment is a place where Ritualista’s can learn about the cultures behind the Ritual and the connected products within that line, discover the mini-ceremonies that enrich the use of the product.

Philips
Experience Design lead

At code d’azur, I was responsible for the re-design of the full digital ecosystem for Philips. Aligning the different business units with each other and creating consistency throughout the markets. 

Leading multiple design teams to create a new consistent online experience. The brand Philips consist of multiple subbrands and have a lot of different departments that are represented on the .com but are not used to work together. The main challenge was to align the teams and create a modular design system.

Odido

Innovation design

At code d’azur we got the challenge to relaunch T-mobile NL as Odido for all online experiences. The journey began with deciphering their core values and translating them into guiding principles for a transformative brand experience.

The main focus was the business transformation of the new brand, and how this could impact their current consumer base whilst simultaneously attracting new customers. What is Odido’s unique offering, why a new brand and how should they communicate and translate this to consumers? An offering that made sense to Odido and their goals, but which wasn’t necessarily the proposition the consumer was waiting for or could simply understand.

After extensive workshops, interviews, and weeks of dedicated research and design efforts, we have created a Value Flow for Odido to define the roadmap for the launch and the future of the brand. Read more about the Value flow and approach.

STOKR

Experience Design

Born out of an ambitious whitepaper, STOKR is a peer-to-peer crowdfunding platform that leverages the Ethereum blockchain to connect innovative ventures and everyday investors. For AKQA, I have created the core journeys for the platform, including creating a white label prototype for the company to show to their investors.

Through an intuitive user experience, ventures share their ideas and investors fund the ones they believe in. There’s no complex process, no loss of control; just the funding they need to grow, and for investors, a share in the profits they deserve.

Lexus & Toyota

Experience Design

For AKQA, I have created the new online retailer experience and 2023 vision for the car brand Lexus & Toyota.
Every aspect of the journey is designed to ensure users get a similar shopping experience online as they offer at the dealerships. Understand the different variations of a single car and how to create their ultimate car to lease or own via the .com

The journey to the design phase was quite an interesting one. Together with Ariane Garoff we created a new buying journey for the future for Toyota and Lexus.
